The Sydney Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre offers a cost-effective location for the television and film production industry.

The pressures on hospital environments make it difficult for the television and film production industry to access ‘real life’ theatres and critical care environments; policies can severally restrict the activity of production teams.

The SCSSC is configured to replicate healthcare settings; it is fully equipped with the medical equipment and instrumentation you would expect to see in a hospital environment.

As we are a training facility (with no real patients) we can accommodate a more flexible approach to accommodate the needs of the television and film production industry. If needed, our staff can also assist in advising production teams to ensure settings are realistic and technically correct; and storyboards are sound. As a high-fidelity simulation environment, the SCSSC also has access to experienced actors, uniforms, medical disposables, audio visual and control-room setup – numerous resources to support production activities.
