Facilities - Immersive simulation
An immersive simulation environment consists of a computer control room, a debriefing room and a simulation training lab. The latter is outfitted to realistically resemble a clinical area.
The centre has four immersive simulation environments:

Operating Theatre (46 m2)
A realistic operating theatre outfitted with operating table, light, trolleys, IV stands, anaesthesia machine and instruments, suitable for single discipline and multiprofessional training. The patient interview room doubles as tea room for communication and professional skills training.

Two-Bed Critical Care Ward (70 m2)
This large laboratory accommodate two resuscitation bays and is configured for training set in emergency departments, intensive care units, recovery rooms and general wards.

Resuscitation and Deteriorating Patient
One of our five skills training rooms is fitted out as a realistic general ward room to enable simulation and skills training for resuscitation and deteriorating patient topics.
