Learning methods employed at the SCSSC
A variety of learning methods are used in synthetic learning environments. Some of the methods employed at the SCSSC are described below.
With the exception of seminars, all training:
- is based on adult learning methods
- enables hands-on practice, discussion and feedback
- is delivered to small groups with small learner to instructor ratios
- uses activities that draw on real-world experience
- is facilitated by appropriately qualified instructors
